In order to function at the highest level in any area of our life, we must first get our health in order. Leveraging his medical background and current entrepreneurial expertise, he’s focusing on the cutting edge of research in nutrition, fitness, mindset, sleep, and human optimization.

Rob has a no-nonsense approach to health and fitness, and we explore his background and how he came to focus on health, and how people can have the highest level of energy and feel good in their body. As driven as you are, you have to be able to enjoy the journey. What’s the action you’re going to take to turn into a habit that fuels you?

I have decided to start refocusing on my own health, developing a more integrative approach and putting in place positive habits to make sure I feel good every single day. When we make our health a priority, we see our performance go up in all areas of your life.

How to Get Your Health Back on Track

  • Rob has four categories that he teaches on when approaching integrative health: Nutrition, Fitness, Mindset, and Health Tests.

  • There are so many amazing tests that aren’t utilized in the traditional medicine world that can pick up small things in the body that can be incredibly effective to treat.

  • The diets we eat in modern day have many nutritional deficiencies

  • Building habits around your health practice is essential to maintaining health in the long run.

  • Consistency is key. If you are traveling or doing something out of your zone, think about bringing food with you or finding ways to keep that consistency going in a new environment.

  • Sleep is probably the number one performance enhancing drug you can have. Stick to a sleep schedule as closely as you can and strive for 7 to 9 hours.

  • Exercise is also critical. Our bodies are meant to move, and if we’re not burning off our energy it can affect our sleep.
